CG Artist’s Toolkit: Life Drawing Week1

Last year during my Foundation course I have had untutored life drawing lessons once a week.
It was pretty challenging as I had to rely on online tutorials to make progress.

It is very helpful to understand the human anatomy and the body movement in animation. For that reason, I will make the most of it.

Below are 3 images of my first week life drawing session.

* First image: 20 minutes pose.

* Second image: quick poses, less than 2minutes - I enjoy drawing dynamic poses because it gives the drawing an energy and you can feel a dynamism.

* Third image is about focusing on the model and the space surrounding the body.

  1. Hey, Anass :) Great to see some activity on here - see, that wasn't so bad, was it? ;) Now - let's get some 'cinematic spaces' action going on in the bloggosphere...
